Many schools took part in this year’s ‘Name an alien’ competition and we have been overwhelmed at the response to it and really impressed with the effort the children have made. It was really difficult to choose just 20 aliens to feature on our poster as we received so many varied and colourful drawings, not to mention their incredible names.
The poster is available to download here and you can use it as a reading resource towards the Year 1 Phonics Check during the week commencing June 12th. Display it, add more aliens with all the spellings you have taught your pupils, or print and cut up into cards to make a matching pairs game.
Congratulations to all the winners, your posters are winging their way to you…
